Nuno Noronha Lopes of Evora, Portugal scored a hole-in-one on 08/22/08. The ace occurred on Hole 15, a par 3, 140yd hole at Santo Estevao Golf located in Santo Estevao, Portugal.

Nuno scored the hole-in-one with a 9 Iron and had this to say about it:

"It was very special because it was my first hole in one. When I played the ball, and I see it was on the green, I turned back to the trolley, and my partner said that the ball entered the hole. At first I didn´t believe it, but as we approched the green we only saw one ball, as the other (my ball) was in. Then I told my partner "Now I can die peacefully because I just made a Hole in One""
