Liz Lechmanski of Shelter Island, New York, USA scored a hole-in-one on 10/09/08. The ace occurred on Hole 6, a par 3, 130yd hole at Cherry Creek located in Riverhead, New York, USA.

Liz scored the hole-in-one with a Driver and had this to say about it:

"We searched forever for my ball. Finally I said, "These people are behind us. You guys putt in and I´ll look for my ball." As I searched behind the green for the ball, my friend Ann called out, "What´s this doing in there?" She held it up; it was my Titleist golf ball that I won that Saturday before at the Bob DeStephano Open at Gardiners Bay Country Club!!! I couldn´t believe what I was seeing! This is only my third year playing golf. This was a very special day for me! Terrible game, but GREAT 6th hole!"
