The par three plays long uphill-it all drops off to the right bunker so I had to aim dead straight. It's handicap 6 on the 18 hole course. I was playing with my dad and another twosome. When we got to the green I couldn't see my ball. I knew I hit good and straight I thought it was over the back but my dad told me to check the hole first. I jumped up and shouted 'it's in, it's in! ' he had told me that I needed a hole in one to break 50 on the front nine. I was so happy to think that I had but then he told me that it was actally 51. I am happy with the hole in one and I'll just have to break 50 next time. I used wilson staff ball and a junior 1 wood. The hole in one was witnessed by my dad and doug and betty carrs - 2 other members. The witnesses gave me a big hug. Dad told me I had to buy everyone a drink out of my allowance. Everyone in the club house cheered and I'm out 50 bucks. Man, golf is expensive!
