It was an eleveted hole, we could only see the top of the pin. When we arrived at the green there were only three balls there. I assumed that I had over hit the ball - as usual and started to head for the rough behind the green, and then one of the others looked in the hole. I thought he was kidding, but no there it was. We finished at 10. 30 am and the bar was not open, so we celebrated with bacon sandwiches and coffee.
