The odds of an average golfer hitting a hole-in-one are estimated to be around 12,500 to 1.
Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.
It was a mini tournament organised by alliance investment bank at the mines resorts & golf club. Hole 7-par 3-index 15-160 meters. On that day, I decided to take an extra club, my trusted callaway diablo rescue 3, in view of the headwind and the green is quite well protected by hazards. I hit a good contact and the ball, taylormade distance took off nicely, bracing through the headwind and then landed within the one-foot range from the pin. It bounced once and then went into the hole. My witnesses were jumping up and down and shouting... "the ball disappears... Hole in one!.. Hole in one!! ". It was a magical moment for me!
