Hit a callaaway blue, it was the first time I played with this type of ball. Hit a superb shot and it passed the flag ny 10 feet a spun back into the hole. From what I gather that is a tricky type of shot to play. The special thing about the hole in one was that it was in a major charity event and over 80 players were involved. The great news for me was when I returned to the clubhouse thinking that it would cost me a fortune at the bar, the promoters told me that the bar in fact had been sponsored so everyone could celebrate with me and it would cost me nothing. From a scottish point of view that was most welcome.
