I was playing in our clubs xmas hamper day and the format was ambrose in teams of 6 ther were 3 women and 3 men , 3 tee off and 3 put out thi was my first shot of the day and paddy had played a great shot to the green and said get inside that bob well the ball left the club face beautifully and after a slight fade pitched 15 ft short and that was all we saw we thought it was close and when we got to the green no ball to be seen paddy checked the back bunker - not there- they said 'look in the hole bob' well I crawled up to hole and yes there it was snug in the bottom of the hole ,what joy what emotion what a celebration and what a great day 175 golfers in the field and a fantastic personel achievement one which I thought I would never have to all the other hole in oners congratulations and have a long and happy golfing life
