The odds of an average golfer hitting a hole-in-one are estimated to be around 12,500 to 1.
Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.
It was a par 4, and we never play from these tees but they were working on the other tee boxes and we had to hit from those tees. A few weeks ago we were talking about I haven't had a hole-in-one in awhile. My last holes-in-one's were 2018 & 1996 left-handed and the one before that one was 1990 when I was playing right-handed so to get one on a par 4 now was pretty exciting.
