Had just hit a terrible drive on the previous hole, so decided to use a real crappy ball - you know the type you find in the bush whilst looking for an errant tee shot, anyway, with crappy ball in hand 244 yards from the pin sitting on the front of the green, I hit a three quarter hybrid straight down the throat, bounced before the green and my playing partner and I lost sight of it - I was sure I ran it through the green and on searching for some time gave up and let my opponent putt, as he was lining up his putt I went to take the flag and found my ball sitting happily at the bottom of the cup :)
