Gotta give all Glory to God βπΌfor the gift of this incredible game of golf! β³οΈπ On Sunday, May 31st, I was enjoying an early morning round of golf in Guatemala π¬πΉ at El Pulte Golf with Marcello Cabrerra and Martin Verchere. We're on the 8th tee box and I'm explaining to the guys about some tips on how to play the hole. Marcello says, "Let's see a Hole in One!" The pin was back right on a very tight par three playing 158 yards with a little breeze in the face. I took out a seven iron and flighted it down a bit. The ball took off the club face and never left the flagstick.β³οΈ We all heard it smash into the base of the pin! π₯ Our Caddie says, "It's In!" 1οΈβ£ We were all shocked at first! π± I thought it's maybe ricocheted off the green? But the caddie said "Si! It's In!" again and then we all started celebrating! π Walking up to the hole was one of the coolest experiences I've ever had in my 45 years of playing this game! π The ball had flown directly into the cup smashing the front lip of the cup!! I've only had one other HIO back in 2000. π This one is super special on so many levels! βπΌ
