Browse By DateOdds Of A Hole-In-One?
The odds of an average golfer hitting a hole-in-one are estimated to be around 12,500 to 1.
Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.

The shot landed about 10 yards in front of the pin which was on a slope at the upper back right of the green. It rolled up and would probably have gone about 3 feet past the hole but hit the pin dead centre and dropped in. This hole is #2 on the west nine of our course. This was my second hole in one. The other was on #5 which is a par 3 on the north nine of the same course. If I am fortunate enough to score another ace on the south nine I will earn the coveted "triple" which has never been done on our course.
