The hole played about 252 yards, and is one of the toughest par 3's in the state. I'm usually thrilled about walking away from it with a par. Waveland g. C. Is the oldest public golf course west of the mississippi. I was playing with the assistant pro jason marvelli, who the day before witnessed an ace on the 182 yard 8th hole with one of his fellow assistants. We could not tell right at first, due to distance and thinking it might be behind the stick. Upon arrival to green we all started yelling and celebrating. It was a great feeling.
