Twas the night before the 13th, couples league night. Hubbys up first, ball.. Right into the pond, so it was all up to me to save the hole! Grabbed my nine iron, dropped my pink wilson ball, and let her rip! Over the pond, sunset in the background, turtles on the log, it was truly a beautiful friday evening! The greens are designed as â"turtle shellsâ", any time you're even remotely close to hole it's an unbelievable moment.. The ball lands the green, rolls, rolls, gone! We knew it hadn't fallen off the back edge because of the speed, but it was too good to be true! I froze! Hubby yells â"get in the cart! â" I just couldn't move! From there it was all a blur.. I couldn't even wait until the cart came to a stop, I jumped out, ran to the hole, and there she was!!!! Bottom of the cup baby! I didn't even reach for the ball, I just ran around in circles! The couple we were playing against, ken walked to the cup, pulled up the flag and said â"well, there it is! â" there it was, that moment of truth feeling! Happiness all around! It's time to record our scores, and ken yells, â"so, one?! â" brandon yelled back â"yup! â".. Haha it was such a surreal moment I will never forget! Our 16 year old son works at the course and we immediately called him to ranger his way over to the 13th hole so I could grab a picture with him! It was an amazing moment to get to share! Well, thanks for listening to my ace story! Hope there are more to come!
