I grabbed my 5 iron and set my ball up the way I normally do. I took a practice swing and then hit the ball. I had a decend impact and hit the ball a little left of the pin. About half way to the green my ball started to divert back towards the right and then the ball landed on the green about 10 feet in front of the pin and rolled straight into the cup. At first I assumed my ball rolled off the green, or, was lined up with the pin so that I couldn't really see the ball. My buddy mentioned that he thinks it could of rolled into the cup,but ofcourse he was just assuming. As we drove pulled up to the green we both noticed that my ball was nowhere in sight. I ran over to the cup and there it was,I couldn't believe it. I was flabergasted. Now I owe my buddy drinks for the rest of the night. Atleast we weren't a foursome :) I'm going to by a lotto ticket.
