I played with my father-in-law, and two good friends. I hit first as everybody else was quietly talking about the weather as it was a beautiful day. As the ball was high in the air it moved slightly towards the pin, all off a sudden their conversation stopped and two of them commented that this ball had a great chance and it is a good-looking shot, the ball hit a foot and a half in front of the pin and bounced hitting the pin and dropping in the hole. My two friends said that they have never seen a hole-in-one in person and my father-in-law noted that he has been in groups that have hit a hole-in-one but never watched it. So he was happy to watch the whole swing and landing of the ball going in the cup.
