The odds of an average golfer hitting a hole-in-one are estimated to be around 12,500 to 1.
Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.

The first hole at deep water bay is very short but the green is small and protected by big sand traps in front and on each side. I hit a 60 degree lob wedge, and the ball landed about three feet short and roled in to the hole. The course starter ran all the way to the hole and picked the ball out for me!
