Browse By DateOdds Of A Hole-In-One?
The odds of an average golfer hitting a hole-in-one are estimated to be around 12,500 to 1.
Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.

It went in the hole after hitting the flag stick directly. There was a small depression at the front of the hole where the ball hit the ground and the stick at the same time. We heard the ball hit the stick but couldn't see the ground at the hole as it was hidden by a small knoll in front of the green. We could only tell when we got up to the green and looked in the hole. Everyone was very excited and my guest stated that I was going to buy the drinks which I did.
