I was on a trip with my boss for 4 days of golf and business. He took me to a course (edgewood)that I couldn't afford to golf at 200. 00 per round and it was the week before the pro-am tournament they hold yearly. I was golfing teribly the first 10-holes as I was pulling out my left shoulder and hooking everything as well the greens were like painted cement. I finally got my game somewhat in line on the 11th and then on the 12th I used my 7-iron as the hole was playing 173yds on that day and the pin was forward. I landed the shot 9 feet behind the hole and saw it bounce up when it landed and thought that I had a great shot. It wasn't until my boss got up to hit that we looked at the green again and noticed that my ball wasn't on the green. My first thought was that it must have rolled off or something as I'm never that lucky. The remaining golfers all finished their shots and we headed up to the green. I jumped out of the cart and my boss told me not to go on the green alone and wait for the other golfers to witness and verify the shot. I stood back and waited until all of us were there and we proceded together. My boss walked up and looked down and there was my ball lying in the hole. At that moment my stomach dropped and I was in shock and disbelief. It wasn't until we were finishing the 18th that it really set in. What a great thing to happen to me on a course that I can't afford to golf and I also get to watch the celebrity pro-am this weekend on tv and get to brag to my buddies that I aced that hole.
