Competing in a two day championship tournament held each october by the double eagle golf association of dallas, of which I am a member. On hole number five I was pondering in my mind whether I should hit my driver or three wood, because I had hit the driver wide right the previous day. However, I felt the driver was the club to hit and hit it I did. As others in the foursome gave me praise for hitting such a nice shot, we had no idea the ball had went into the hole, in fact we all thought it had rolled pass the hole to the back of the green. After arriving at the green and not seeing the ball on the green I begin to check behind the green and did not see the ball. Bishop one of my playing partners told me, you might want to check the hole george, I did and in the hole it was. At the awards ceremony I learned that I was one of only six member to have made a hole in one and the first to do so on a par four.
