I was having a terrible day on the course, couldn't keep my drives straight, get my iron shots up, or sink my putts. A gentleman we had just met and asked to play with our group was a very good consistent golfer. His name was robert. Robert was telling me that he's had days like that but eventually you'll hit a good shot and it's all worthwhile. It would make you want to come back again and again. Anyhow, hole number 6, a 155 yard par 3 over a pond with the green up on a slope. I was hitting last after the triple bogey on #5. Robert was on the green as usual. The other guys were close so I grabbed my 8 iron, relaxed and stroked the ball smooth and easy. It felt good, looked good and high and straight. I figured I hit a little too good. I have a very strong swing. My vision not being that great, I could see it drop. I thought it was up at the top of the green, because I could no longer see the ball, I said
