The 5th hole at highland is a slightly uphill 235 yd par 3 which plays closer to 245-250 yds. I hit what was probably my best drive ever on the hole. As we approached the green, I did not see my ball short of the green, which is usually where I am on this hole. And because I couldn't see where the ball landed due the distance of the hole, I immediately started walking toward the back of the green, assuming my ball was deep and off the green. My friend said very sarcastically, "you might as well check the hole on your way by". So did, and there was my ball lying in the hole! I raised my arms in celebration, followed by hugs from my buddies. What a feeling!
