Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.
Special??? Well special is the fact that I'll be 59 in a month, that my handicap is as about as high as you can get, that I need a 3 wood to hit from an elevated tee and that I'm riddled with aches and pains from age and injury and that in the last 3 years I've only been healthy enough to get out on the course roughly 20 times. I'd love to know the odds on that combination. It was pretty, I must have hit the sweet spot. I was in a benefit 1 day tournament in a 4 person best ball so there were all kinds of wonderful people around. I was so pleased. My picture was taken, I was given a boquet of flowers, and my picture in a special hole in one frame. I even made the front page of our local paper. It was special because of the people around me and bless them, they made such a fuss over me. That was the most fun of the day.
