First of all, this hole in one was during a 666 tournament. 6 holes - scramble; 6 holes - shamble; 6 holes best ball. My partner's name was wendy. This was our last hole of the tournament. It also happened to be the ladies' flight closest-to-the pin contest hole. I was the third in our foursome to tee off, and coincidentally, all four of us were on the tee box and got to see it bounce right into the cup. We all went wild, of course!! Normally we would each hit and sit back down in the cart, so it was special that we were all there. Oh - and the pin placement was behind the bunker. The previous "closest" lie was on the left-hand side of the green, opposite of the pin. I won a brand new odyssey putter for being closest to the pin. Wendy and I ended up winning the tournament too! My fiance was so jealous, which made it even better.
