Browse By DateOdds Of A Hole-In-One?
The odds of an average golfer hitting a hole-in-one are estimated to be around 12,500 to 1.
Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.

I was playing with 3 male friends who were all looking for a lost ball. It wasn't until I said I think it went in the hole that they took notice. None of them have ever had a hole in one and this was my second. The 14th hole is beautiful at georgetown as you are hitting over a large and very deep ravined and treed area to make the green. The ball bounced once and then straight into the cup. I didn't even go to the hole to get my ball, I let one of the men go and get it to make sure it was really in there - and it was.
