First, I love world woods golf club in brooksville, fl. This is probably one of my favorite courses in fl. I was with 3 of my best friends playing 36 holes on friday 4/11. We just finished playing rolling oaks, had lunch and went to play pine barrens. We came to the 3rd hole. The hole was playing 146 yards, all carry over water with about a 1 club wind in our face. I choked down on a 6 iron and made a nice easy swing. I slightly drew the ball and it landed about 20 feet from the pin. I leaned over to pick up my tee and my friends (matt mckee, bob noah and craig kahle) were screaming for me to look at the green. I turned around and saw the ball rolling towards the hole, never actually thinking of a â"hole in oneâ", and then the ball just disappeared. My jaw dropped and I went numb, my friends were running towards my like I had just won the lottery or just made the putt to win the ryder cup. I could not have asked for a better â"hole in oneâ" experience – it was a beautiful day, playing 36 holes, at one of my favorite courses and with my best friends. I will remember that friday afternoon for the rest of my life. Thanks
