The odds of an average golfer hitting a hole-in-one are estimated to be around 12,500 to 1.
Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.

It was the first hole I teed off and the ball just plopped on the green and rolled in. A youmg man who was on the practice green said "you just hit an ace. " he then said " you have to do the ace dance and we did. Once we started dancing other people on the course started to cheer and dance. Three guys who were in the club house came out and were cheering and said " when are you buying us a beer? " after we finshed dancing we went in and I bought the bar a round.
