I was playing with a high school friend (sam prendergast) and a colleague (greg ellis). From an elevated tee I hit what felt like a special shot off the club face. The ball sailed and landed just before the mound which concealed the base of the flag. Knowing it was close I dashed down to the green and to the applause of those who had witnessed it from the next tee I retrieved my hole in one ball. Unbelievable feeling which my friend paul lewis will never get to feel. Since then people have tried to dispute my hole in one - which is just plain jealousy. I am now proud that this will be on this great website. Thanks michael (proud member holeinone. Com - something paul lewis will never be).
