Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.
My first ace. It occurred during my company's charity golf tournament. Scramble, best ball format. Unfortunately it occurred on a closest to the hole hole and not a hole in won prize hole (I probably wouldn't have been elligible for the prize being an employee of the company anyway). Oddly enough, one witness and close friend & co-worker, gerry ciejka was also a witness to the only other hole in one that I had witnessed personally about fifteen years ago.
