Note: ball was taylormade tp5 (taylormade was not an option in the ball drop-down menu) played the campus life golf tournament to support a wonderful cause on friday sept 6th 2024. Tournament was at big river golf course in umatilla oregon. Family friend dan lynch was my playing partner (2-person scramble). We were paired with paul butkus and his young son alex butkus. Shotgun start at 12:30 pm and the group started off on hole #18. Ladies played from the whites and men played from the blues. One exception was on par-3 hole #9, which had everyone playing from the blues. On the par-3 hole #9, from the blue tees it was playing in at 165 yards. Hit my 5-hybrid and as dan would say, "that was money the whole way". Can see video at: https://www. Youtube. Com/watch? V=dxec4dw4pms&list=uulf3bjxbcl-5uvpodcziy8h-q was a fantastic feeling hitting a hole-in-one in tournament play and was even better having so many folks in the gallery behind hole #9 watching the groups play through (many of the folks who put the campus life tournament together, including ashley umbarger, were in the gallery behind hole #9) celebrating the hole-in-one. Had shot a few hole-in-one's previously in life but it had been over 3 years since the last time and never in a tournament round, so this was an extra special hole-in-one.
