The odds of an average golfer hitting a hole-in-one are estimated to be around 12,500 to 1.
Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.

The 14th hole of this course is rated as one of the most difficult and beautiful in the world, according to a pro golfer friend of mine. So, when the ball touchdowned 4 feet from the hole, I was already leaping miles into the air. Who would have guessed that after bouncing a couple of times, it just rolled and disappeared into the hole. It was my first and a dream come true!!! My friends and I have given our at-the-moment celebration dance a name, and it's called the 'ah ah dance' which is really a dance that you'd literally scream off the top of your lungs 'aaaahhhhh!!! ' while jumping up and down, holding hands, going round and round in circles, for the longest time:)
