I was playing in a high school tournament and was not having the greatest rounds. I stepped up to the tee box after making a much-needed birdie putt. I grabbed my goodwill gap wedge my grandfather gave me and just hit the ball. The ball was a pure shot that flew in the air right at the flag, it hit a foot in front of the hole and bounced right in. One hop and drop. My playing partners from that tournament, their parents, and I took a couple of seconds before going nuts on the tee box. It was an unforgettable feeling, on a high for the rest of the round shooting a 78.
