I was playing in the wednesday comp. On 2nd january 2019 at muirfield golf club, north rocks, 2151, nsw, australia. I hit the ball (taylormade burner soft) off a low tee on the 6th tee-box with a 5 iron - ping g400. The result gave me a beautiful steady straight lofty shot. The ball landed on the edge of the green on a slightly raised mound behind the right front bunker - some three yards from the hole. The ball immediately rolled off the mound and steadily towards the hole/6th pin. (at this point I thought I might be in with a chance for the "nearest the hole" prize! ). However, as if in slow motion, the ball continued towards the hole and disappeared down it. Amazing! The three others in my playing-group were watching this too. We all reacted at the same moment when the ball went down the hole. Another group were approaching the 5th green beside the 6th tee box that I was standing on. Their attention was drawn to "hooting & hollering" and joined in accordingly. What an amazing feeling.
