The odds of an average golfer hitting a hole-in-one are estimated to be around 12,500 to 1.
Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.
This was my 10 year old daughters first time on a golf course during an enrichment day with the school. We had a shotgun start on the 2nd hole and everything was going as would expect. Balls were flying all over the place. On the 4th hole, she topped the ball off the tee and the ball skittered down the fairway onto the green and into the cup! What a thrill for her! And I got to see it!
