Browse By DateOdds Of A Hole-In-One?
The odds of an average golfer hitting a hole-in-one are estimated to be around 12,500 to 1.
Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.

The 15th hole is the signature hole for not only the lake ridge golf course, but also for the whole reno/sparks area. It is an island hole and the green is about 150 ft below the tee box. We watched the ball roll into the cup and started celebrating until we noticed the foursome standing on the bridge and their lack of excitement. We finally yelled down to them and asked them if the ball went in the hole. They said it did so we started celebrating some more. That foursome must be a tough crowd to play with since they acted like it was no big thing. The bar tab came to $275. I made the shot during the men's club 2002 opening tournament and the word spread fast. I had quite a thirsty group waiting for me in the 19th hole.
