The odds of an average golfer hitting a hole-in-one are estimated to be around 12,500 to 1.
Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.

Our threesome was on the tee box discussing how much cash should be paid by the witnesses for a h. I. O. And I said it s/b $20. 00 each because how often would you see that happen. They each hit their shots near the green after which I proceeded to whack it right over the water and it bounced a couple times and rolled perfectly into the hole. We all freaked out. What a wierd feeling setting down my golf bag and walkiing onto the green without a club in my hands. Awesome---felt like a life changer for me.
