I'm a member of the women's league at the links, but this was my first time playing the course from the white tees. The ladies league plays off the orange tees. We tee'd off early in the morning. Hole number 2 faces due east. I hit a solid shot off the tee with a 6 iron and we heard a loud thud. As we approached the green we only saw 1 ball on the green. I began to get upset as I thought my ball flew off the back of the green and started searching for my ball, when my friend jennifer said, "you know my ball hit the green too and didn't make that sound, did you check the cup? " then she ran over to the cup and there it was! I dunked it straight into the cup! We were screaming with joy and excitement. The men behind our group heard our joyous screams and they began to shout and cheer too! My playing partners were jennifer lee and dale heidelberg. It was a fabulous day. I finished the round with a 92! I was able to contain my excitement with this hole and one!
