The odds of an average golfer hitting a hole-in-one are estimated to be around 12,500 to 1.
Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.

It was so special because I holed out the first hole in a match play game. The par 3 was a short but a very demanding hole to attack. I was working with my instructer and good friend gavin olley to pull out the shot. I needed a high draw in the green and I did it with no problem. When my friend said 'it's in the hole I jumped in the pond on the 2nd and I lit up my cigar and celebrated.
