I had taken a break from golfing but got back into it this summer with some friends from home. Two weeks before, I eagled the same hole with a 15ft putt, so I knew I could get it on the green. This drive drew right in towards the flag and when we pulled up to the green I didn't see my ball but noticed the divot. I always check the hole when I can't find a shot that I know was good, hoping that I was lucky. When I saw that red bridgestone ball in the cup I couldn't believe it and had to sit down. I always thought I'd go crazy when I hit my first hole in one but I was in disbelief. My dad mark strickler was the most excited for me to join him in the hole in one club, although it took him till his 60's to get his first.
