Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.
It was in the monthly medal. Ordinarily we tee off the first, but there was a county match that day so we teed off the 10th. The 11th is probably the most picturesque par 3 on the course. At this time of year the greens are really fast and true. I teed up a callaway red and caught it perfectly. The ball pitched 8ft past the hole and spun back into the cup. I guess this is a hole in one everyone dreams of. A fantastic moment.
