I shot a hole-in-one today on a par 3 185 yds. Using a 3 wood. We were playing behind a couple of guys who waved us on to play through. On this hole you have to carry across 150 yds. Of water to get to a raised and rather small green. My buddy, mark hit first and landed his drive about 8 feet from the hole. Meanwhile, the two guys who waved us through were standing on the back of the green close to the pin. I was praying to just get my ball across the water onto some dry land not thinking I could best mark's ball. It hit in about 15 feet in front of the pin and rolled in. The distance was too far to see it go in but I saw the reaction of the two guys watching it. I'm still in shock.
