I usually hit a 7 or 8 iron on the hole but the wind was blowing at us quite a bit and the tees were at the back of the tee box so at the last minute I decided to hit a 6 iron. I hit a pretty good shot and it bounced once, hit the flagstick and dropped into the hole. I had been struggling with my short putts all day so lorne, who I was playing with, immediately said that was one way to get the ball in the hole without missing another short putt!! My friends lyn and bob were standing on the 14th tee box and watched the ball go into the hole so lyn and I both started screaming. I started running down the fairway cheering and her up the fairway to give me a congratulation hug. It was great!!
