It was an uneventful early friday morning solo flight, with my caddy oca. I was suffering from tibialis posterior (ankle) tendinitis. I played against the order of my ortho with the help of celebrex 200mg. At back 9, playing ahead of me were brothers, ferdie & luis conde which I met eventually on tee # 15 canteen. Ferdie invited me to join them which I accepted. So there, I have witnesses with me. I teed of last & par this hole, also uneventfully. Then, we reached tee # 16, oca handed me my old reliable cleveland launcher gold 5 wood. I teed of first. I felt I made the perfect swing since there were audiences already. It was a straight flight towards the green. I uttered 'tonnng', short for 'patong', which I exclaimed whenever I landed my ball on green. I took my sight off the green, while my ball is still rolling, to pick up my tee and split second later, all hell breaks loose. I was surprise to see or didn't see my ball was gone. It's in the hole!! Yehey!! High fives!! The flight behind, which I overtook on hole # 13, caught us up and congats me as well. The club sent oyie, fairway marshall to strictly documents the event. And the rest, as they all say, is historic. Hahaha.. The prize: p3,000. Clubhouse consumable food & drinks + p10,000. 00 cash prize + a trophy with my name & my hole-in-one ball on it.
