Browse By DateOdds Of A Hole-In-One?
The odds of an average golfer hitting a hole-in-one are estimated to be around 12,500 to 1.
Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.

The hole was well above us and we could not see it go in. The shot was sculled and barely made it over the crest of the hill. We heard it hit the pin and the bet was whether or not it went in. We had just been talking about getting a hole in one with a guy a couple of holes earlier that made a hole in one on that same hole a few years ago. We had not spoken to him before about this. This was quite a coincidence.
