I was out with the team from the Gammarth Golf Academy. We were four: Ameni, Sami, Hatem (the national golf coach), and myself. It was a windy day, about 35 km/h from the northwest. After we finished the first hole, I lined up on the tee, slightly to the right, adjusting for the wind. I took the shot, but at first, I couldn’t see it land. I didn’t see the ball bounce, nor did I notice any sand from the top dressing move or stir at all. As we moved forward, I searched in the bunkers but couldn’t find it. Then I told Ameni, ‘Wait, let’s check the hole, who knows!’. And to my amazement, it was in the cup. It was the Srixon ball number 3 I just played. This was the first hole-in-one of my life.
