Browse By DateOdds Of A Hole-In-One?
The odds of an average golfer hitting a hole-in-one are estimated to be around 12,500 to 1.
Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.

It was my first hole in one, but was makes this unique, and very rare is that after I put my shot in the hole, my opponent in our matchplay event then stepped up and put the very next shot in also. Consecutive holes in one!. This is not a joke, and was witnessed by a group of 4 older players waiting behind us, and a group of 4 in front of us as they cleared the green. Residents of houses adjoining the course came out after hearing me, and my playing partners being very excited, and then they also observed my opponent put the very next shot in. They were both perfect golf shots. This has received minor radio and press coverage in melbourne, australia. My opponents name was jason vanderzalm.
