Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.

Let me preface this by saying that I am what I would consider to be a slightly below average golfer. I'm currently a 21 Handicap and usually shoot anywhere from 90 - 95 at Granite Hills Golf Club (One of Manitoba's most challenging courses). Something must have been in the water yesterday, because I flushed my 6 Iron on Hole 17 with a great line towards the pin. I commented out loud to my girlfriend "Huh, that looks pretty good", as it was tracking towards the pin. Then it bounced on the front edge of the green and started rolling, still on line and I remarked "Go In!" Sure enough, it dropped - And my girlfriend and I looked at each other in pure shock. Following a brief celebration and a few pictures, it took a monumental effort to try and focus on still playing quality golf. I managed to score a respectable Bogey on Hole 18 - Bringing my total for the round to 88, my first time ever breaking 90 at Granite Hills Golf Course. Hopefully, this is not the last time!
