When I hit the ball, I knew it was going towards the flag, my two partners and myself are yelling for it to be the right disatnce. I see it hit near the flag and then I thought it went behind the pin. My two partners (both younger and better eyesight) start whooping and hollering that it went in. I asked "did it go in?" They assurred me in no uncertain terms that it went in. The ball actually hit about three inches behind the hole and spun backwards into the hole!
