I has just got my first hole in one on may 2, 2003 and was so pumped. Then less than 2 weeks later I went out golfing with my wife and on the second hole I hit the ball right at the pin and my wife thought it had gone in, not believing I could be this lucky I didn't believe her until we got on the green. Even then I thought maybe it had rolled off the back, but I looked in the cup and there it was. Then a group that had just walked off the green said that they had seen it go in and wondered why there was no cheering! The answer was denial.
