Hi, I am dhiraj vij from amritsar(india). I am a 8 handicap. Playing for almost 25 years now. Today was a fantastic morning. I was playing reasonably ok with my usual four ball. We reached the hole no. 8 which is a par 3 158 yards. And normally I would hit a 8 iron on this hole but I amanita sure why I picked a 7 today. I was the second to tee off but when the first guy hit a 8 iron pin high on the right, I was confused and so I told my other friend that I have chosen the wrong club and I would have to check my swing a little. Shortened the club and hit the ball (quite a neat connection but the ball was a little low in flight)in the line of the pin position. This hole position is not visible from the tee so I was anxiously waiting for signs from my caddie if it was on the green or not. There was a long pause , no signals , and I told my four ball that I might have hit it long. But suddenly the silence was broken by the caddies of our four ball and the four ball ahead of us. Massive roars and hurrah , everyone started shouting "holi-in-one" repeatedly. 12 years back it happened the same way and on the same hole. (dejavu).
