Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.
My hole in one was witnessed by a friend of mine, Sky Hand, I hit a 6 iron 188 yards and watched it land on the front of the green and roll into the hole! I dropped my club, turned around and looked to see if Sky saw what I saw, he doesn’t have as good vision and so I was excited while he was pondering if it truly went in. We hopped into the cart and I was on the edge ready to jump out as soon as we got close to the green. When I jumped out, I kept jumping trying to scan the green for my ball, but we only saw his. Sure enough I jumped again, so the ball in the hole and started to go crazy! I took some photos of the hole and asked him to take a photo of myself. The funny part of this story is when I handed him my phone to take a photo of myself, he said “man it’s so confusing taking a photo nowadays” I laughed and looked later and he didn’t even take a photo! Luckily I have a few photos of the hole to remember.
